The Orioles released Scott Chiasson and Guillermo Quiroz, allowing the two Minor League veterans to try and hook on with another club before the end of spring. The rest of the cuts were fai…

COLLEGE PARK (AP) -- Dave Neal didn't know whether to cheer or cry.
The only senior on Maryland's basketball team had just learned the Terrapins would be going to the NCAA tournament, and a wave of emotion enveloped him.
"It's a dream come true. I almost started crying when I saw our name," Neal said Sunday night, moments after the Terrapins were named the No. 10 seed in the West Region.
Despite losing by 41 points at Duke, falling at home to Morgan State and faltering miserably against woefu…

Filing electronically not only speeds up refunds, it also saves the state about $1.50 per return, "and that adds up when you're talking about over 2.5 million returns,"…

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Ferocious linebacker Ray Lewis agreed a multi-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday, giving the 10-time Pro-bowl selection a chance to play out his entire career with the team.
"From beginning to end as a Raven. Wow! to be with the same team with the same fans for an entire career, that doesn't happen in the NFL," Lewis, 33, said on the team's website (www.baltimoreravens.com).
"The bottom line for me is that God always finishes first, and I prayed over th…
