Hi ya, yeah I have been interested in indian, middle eastern, african, brazilian, and other world music off and on my entire life... so much to be learned there... do you happen to know if there is there any cool stuff happening around the area ?

You just missed the latino festival at FCC. Brazil day would have been a good option too. Good choice going to In The Street. Check the schedule; they always have a good variety of acts from all over the world.
